Offline point of sale: keep selling without internet
Internet outages should not stop a shop. With Business POS, sales keep being recorded on the phone and reach the shop as soon as the connection is back.
How it works
- The till keeps a copy of your products and customers on the phone.
- Each sale made without a connection is saved on the phone, in the order it was made.
- The Sync square on the home menu shows the sales waiting to be sent, and lets you send them now.
What you can and cannot do offline
- You can sell, take cash and print receipts while offline.
- Categories and their counts, and changes to products made by others, update once the phone is back online.
Nothing is lost
- A sale waiting on the phone is not sent twice. The shop recognises each sale, so resending it is safe.
- Each sale keeps the time it was made, so the reports are right.
Questions
